"We all need tools to help accomplish the myriad of
tasks for which we are responsible. Opportunity
Season is a wonderful tool designed to not only
accomplish, but help identify and clarify the opportunities
that may otherwise elude us. The book itself is a visual
manifestation of what can be accomplished in the course
of one or two opportunity seasons."

"This is the BEST tool I have ever seen. It is simple.
The spin is the sports theme, the daily contact (for
only 10 minutes), and the feeling of competition (fun
to try to win against myself), vs. the fatigue of performing
to a standard. This is actually fun - fun that creates
real change."

"The weather, sports and life come and go in seasons,
so it is natural to embark upon life enhancing partnerships,
dialog, spiritual growth and greater action toward taking
advantage of your opportunities in twelve week cycles.
I have read dozens of self-help, spiritual and motivational
books. Ken has written a great book that goes beyond
theory and gives you an actual road map for success.
Just like sports, life achievements are more attainable
with a team, a coach and partners to help you with encouragement,
perspective and accountability. Opportunity Season
outlines not just how to create this structure but how
to implement it every day."

Our Season has been an invaluable experience
for me. Being focused has always been one of my strong
suites, but working with a partner, as well as a spiritual
group has brought a new awareness to my life.
For me, the unique thing about our season was not
achieving goals, but rather about me being mentored
spiritually as I was accomplishing my goals. The Weekly
Game Plans were very uplifting.
The process of mentoring seems to be a lost art. -

I have read it (Opportunity Season)
and more importantly I have recently incorporated it into
my life. It is a book that will lead one to the accomplishment
of one's dreams. It is a "how to" book that
can take the encouragement of John Eldredge, Rick Warren
and others to fruition. It is a system that can motivate
behavior via a team concept and team accountability.

What a refreshing surprise this
book was! It defies the stereotypical label of either
self-help or motivational, because it does both but is
more than either of those labels. Most self-help books
leave you over-diagnosed and under-prescribed with practical
tools to cure what ails you. That is not the case with
Opportunity Season. It is a profoundly simple (not over-simplified)
vehicle that will walk you through to practical, lasting
breakthroughs because the concepts are anchored in knowing
the truth.
Ken has a way of addressing difficult subjects quite
simply without drowning people in detail. Having served
in the capacity of Biblical Counselor for several years,
I can heartily endorse the need for this book. It fills
a unique role that blends truth-based self-realization
with active behavioral change that is not an easy blend
for most people. Congratulations on a job well done

Ken has provided a valuable tool for
Christians who are looking
to leverage biblical teamwork and accountability in
order to pursue and
achieve their over-arching goals. Opportunity Season
is sure to put
practical feet to those frustrated by limited production
and inactivity.

Participating in an Opportunity Season
has been a life-changing event. It is one thing to try
and describe it, and quite another to experience it. Opportunity
Season is so much more than a self-help plan or an accountability
group. The materials, general guidelines, and team concept
will help you to prioritize the important areas of your
life. This is a must read book and a must “do” season
for anyone who wants to keep growing and learning.

The first thing that excited me about
Opportunity Season was the chance to commit for 12 weeks
and to be able to measure winning and losing on a week
to week basis. This is the 1st men’s group that tapped
into my sense of competitiveness! This was a great format
for me to make significant and measured changes in multiple
areas of need in my life.
The 1st season had such a great impact on me that I
gladly signed up to be a group leader for my next season.
Seeing the change that can be accomplished in men’s
lives through this simple and specific format was a
great motivator to take the next step in leadership.
Little did I know that I would experience even more
personal growth through leading other men through Opportunity
Season as well!

I like this (Opportunity Season.) The
open ended, flexible structure is very appealing in a
wide variety of settings.

Opportunity Season is a true blessing.
This book gives people a way to work as a team, as a partner,
one-on-one, and as an individual, on opportunities in
their life while inviting the Lord to be a part of it.
It is also likely that one opportunity season will not
be enough.

Participating in a couples’ Opportunity
Season worked great. Husbands were teammates, wives were
teammates and both couples together made the team. The
format allowed for interaction with your teammate as well
as your spouse.

Opportunity Season was a great experience.
The fruit of the exercise is a deeper relationship with
another believer – those 10 minute daily talks and prayer
will return much greater dividends in future friendships.
Opportunity Season not only provides concise reading material,
but also some practical exercises, scripture memory and
“homework” that help stimulate the relational connections.
Don’t take opportunity season lightly – if you put the
effort in you will definitely reap the rewards.

I believe that my son and I have had
a deeper interchange of life issues during Opportunity
Season. I know that it breaks the barriers that seem to
inhibit the interaction needed for real communication.
Family issues are the hardest to deal with. Rarely do
you confront the root of the problem. Each week's focus
brings a natural way to discuss the problems of life.
What a life changing experience! God’s way is the best!
I have often struggled for over 20 years with the same
issues. Opportunity Season and the Holy Spirit finally
brought an end to the struggles. I have totally moved
to the another side of a mountain that was blocking
peace and prosperity in my life. Can you change, YES.
